Buck Mountain

Buck Mountain is a recent re-addition to the Fire Tower scene, having been reopened to the public in 2023. This one is a short and sweet trip, with great views of the surrounding lakes from the top of the tower.

Snowy Mountain is a Fire Tower near Indian Lake, the tallest Fire Tower peak of the 25. Although the peak is wooded, views can be had from the false peak lookout or on top of the fire tower.

Spruce Mountain

Spruce Mountain is a quick and easy Fire Tower that offers pretty good trails and easy hike. This Tower is the farthest south in the ADK and is co-located next to a cell tower. This one is pretty far from the valley but is still a great day climb with exceptional views.
